The Heather Tartan Ball will be held this Saturday, November 5, at the Seattle Latvian Cultural Center in north Seattle. Doors open at 6 PM. Our friends from the Kenmore & District Pipe Band, and the newly formed Cascadia Pipe Band are ready to perform, BottleRockit is set to include acoustic versions of a few Scottish tunes into their sets and the ever popular kilted “Time Warp.” Scott Davis will lead two sets of Scottish country dancing with instruction for all. Cynthia Lostoski will run the kitchen to sell meat pies to our attendees.
We still have limited tickets available to purchase via credit card through Eventbrite at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/56th-annual-heather-tartan-ball-silent-auction-tickets-415145319827 for $30. A no-host bar will be provided but you may not bring your own. Folks may bring snacks for their table and meat pies will be available to purchase for enjoying that evening or taking home to freeze and enjoy later. Dress for the evening is semi-formal and don’t forget to wear your tartan – a kilt, tie or sash!
