Volunteer shift sign up is open now!
The weekend of the event is July 27-28 and we’re looking for volunteers from Tuesday, July 23 through Monday, July 29. You can see what’s available and manage what you’ve signed up for online. There are two SignUps on the page – one for Pubs (you must be over 21 and have a Washington State MAST card), and one for everything else.
- Sign ups are first come, first served.
- There’s no limit to the number of shifts you can sign up for, just make sure they don’t overlap.
- Multiple people can sign up with the same email.
We have so many shifts, you may have to click “Show more spots” on Saturday and Sunday to see them all. In particular, we can always use as much help as we can get on Sunday Night Take Down and Monday Take Down.
If you’ve previously volunteered with a specific committee or are interested in an area that you aren’t seeing in SignUp, please reach out to the volunteer committee or the specific committee chair – not all volunteer opportunities are listed there.
Benefits for volunteering:
- Up to two free tickets to the Games. 1 ticket for each 3-hour shift on the weekend itself or 6-hour setup/takedown shift.
- Drinks and light refreshments during the weekend, drinks and meals during set up and take down.
- Volunteer T-shirt – one per volunteer.
- Free camping on Tuesday and/or Wednesday if you are able to help with certain set up/take down activities. See descriptions of shifts for more information.
- Help keep an amazing event alive and thriving.
We need more volunteers than ever this year, so please share with your friends and family!
If you can’t volunteer this year, please sign up here to be informed about future volunteer opportunities.
The Seattle Scottish Highland Games Association is a federally recognized non-profit (c)(3) organization. All officers, trustees, committee chairs, and committee workers are volunteers.
Take the time to get involved. You’ll be glad that you did!
